Ex Votos Grey 2015 No 1 in a series of 4Drawing and Painting on Silkscreen with combined photo and drawn reference. The original charcoal drawing was made from a display of ex votos collected by the anthropologist Eddison Carniero and exhibited at his foundation in Rio. I spent a week working in the museum in 2005 funded by the University of Dundee and the Carnegie Trust, part of a four week research visit to Brazil. See publication "The House of miracles" |
